Every year since 1901 the Nobel Prize has been awarded for achievements in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and for Peace. The Nobel Prize is an international award administered by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank (Sweden's central bank) established the Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, on the occasion of the Bank's 300th anniversary. Each prize consists of a medal, personal diploma, and a cash award.

The Award Ceremony for the Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and Economic Sciences takes place at the Stockholm Concert Hall (Sweden) attended by The Royal Family of Sweden on 10th December, the anniversary of the death of the testator Alfred Nobel.

The Peace Prize is held in Oslo (Norway) in presence of their Majesties The King and Queen of Norway, and this year, the guests enjoyed an exquisite dinner accompanied by our wine Chivite Colección 125 Vendimia Tardía 2007.
